Scanalytics attends Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) in Portland, Oregon

Scanalytics joined flooring leader Mannington at their booth in Portland, Oregon at the Association for Learning Environments conference in October. This conference attracts architects and designers who focus on educational spaces, school administrators who make decisions on creating safe, enriching, innovative school spaces, and the business community who brings these dreams to life: child-centered furniture makers, flooring companies that help create safe, reliable, creative learning environments, and other tool-makers in this ecosystem that focus on “Learning Scapes.”

Conference Snapshots and Scenary

The conference hosted booths, panels, and workshops. It enabled field trips to local schools in the Portland area to showcase innovation and architecture. Mannington is a fifth-generation family-owned business with expertise in long-lasting, sustainable, high-quality flooring with deep experience in Education, Healthcare and other enriched segments and met with Architects and Designers in this space. The typical response to smart flooring and seeing their footsteps and paths in real-time and imagining how this would serve schools, was “Wow, that’s really, really interesting. I can see this helping with school safety, PE classes, facilities management for schools.”
